I dated this guy for a little over a year. We were best friend and I loved him so much. This year we had to do long distance and three weeks in he ended it because it was too stressful. It was so sudden and I did not see it coming. He said he still wants to be friends but I’m so sad and hurting so much. He was my best friend. He sent me a text just saying hi about 2 days ago and I still haven’t responded. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want him to think he gets the best of both worlds but dumping me but also keeping me as his friend. But, I also don’t want this to be the end of us ever talking again. I need advice.
