My placenta “autopsy” aka surgery results came back.

I had chronic deciduitis -

Chronic deciduitis is thought to result from chronic inflammation of the maternal genital tract or an abnormal immune response to the placenta. Increased decidual lymphocytes are seen, and the most rigorous definitions require the presence of plasma cells

- basically, I had an allergic reaction to my pregnancy and my body attacked my placenta.

It explains why my body was covered in a rash nearly my entire pregnancy. I also had hyperemisis. It was just a complete overreaction!

There was also a marginal cord insertion which they never saw at any ultrasound.

Plus his cord in the knot.

Seriously, that boy is a damn miracle 😂
