Did anybody hire a team to a mega clean up before baby arrives?

I really wanted to do this and my husband was against it. Later he made the suggestion that we could have someone come while we are in the hospital so that we come home to a clean house! Sounds great to me! :)

Nope but we don't have a huge house and we also have a cleaner coming in once every two weeks anyway. As for the 'big clean & tidy': that just sort of happened when I went on maternity leave and all of a sudden I got that nesting bug... I couldn't stop tidying and cleaning! Got my boyfriend to do loads of chores and DIY jobs around the house too... I was so bossy all of a sudden! Lasted for about a week and the place is spotless now :) Just in time for my energy slump haha. I was shocked, I'm really not the house proud type. Only 2 weeks left now till my due date...

We are both doing it ourselves here. We just don't have the money and while we have family who would be more than happy and willing to do it, I'm too much of a control freak and too ocd to let someone else clean.

The bathrooms and floors are just out of the question right now. I definitely treated myself a month back thinking baby was coming sooner. Best Christmas, anniversary, belated birthday gift all rolled into one that I gave to myself. Funny story though is my 3 year old cannot handle them cleaning or slightly moving anything so she now keeps her room spotless to make sure they don't touch anything

I am due in two weeks and have people coming to scrub my house tomorrow. I no longer have the energy or ability to do a lot of it. My husband didn't want to spend the money honestly but I asked to have it as my anniversary gift since that was yesterday. He's still not thrilled and says he can do it but he'll appreciate not having to as much as I do. I'll schedule them to come back out a week after I come home from the hospital as well.

I hired a cleaning lady. I am due next week, and she came last week and did a thorough clean, upstairs and downstairs or our house, for 5 hours. She is now scheduled to come again in a couple of days, but only for 3 hours. I love a clean house, but while I can still sweep my floors, I can't vacuum or mop them anymore, nor can I scrub the shower and tubs.
My mom has helped me clean and organize our pantry, which was so disorganized for the last few months.

I put I did it myself but really my boyfriend is the one doing it.

Sanitizing everything and ensuring our house is spotless for when he arrives. I've only worked on the babies room!
