Newborn rash

My 3 week old has had this rash on both cheeks for a few days now and it hasn’t cleared up. Is it just normal baby acne? I have been trying to clean it with a warm wash cloth (no soap) after he nurses hoping it would help. He loves having his hands on his face, so I’ve kept mittens on them to avoid scratches. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of the baby acne??
