Is planning a wedding for February 2022 too far away?

We could’ve gotten married at anytime but it was never the right time, we had one child when we were before we were in our 20’s and now we have a second child being 20 and 21! We’ve had people tell us why so far but we just say we want to be financially ready for such a special event!

It’s fine. Just try to prepare regularly so that stuff isn’t left for the last minute. I felt so flustered the last week or 2 before our wedding because I wasn’t thinking every detail through.  It made my day more stressful than it needed to be.

No at least you’ll have enough time to see if this is really what both of you really want to do .

I don't think there's ever a wedding that's "too far away" in my opinions you need all of the time you can get. Especially if you want a specific venue, specific floral arrangement, etc.

You might need that far in advance for your venue and date.
