Anyone refuse their glucose test ?

Just wondering if anyone’s every refused their glucose test and the reasons why? What was your outcome if any and would you or would you not do it again? 
Update: I also work for a drs office and in our lab and I’ve already refused the test. I was just seeing if others have done the same. Fourth child so I’m not new to any of it.

I'm not sure why you would want to skip a test that helps make sure your baby and you are safe.

It’s really not smart to refuse the test. Even if you have no risk factors, you can still develop GD. Why are you even bothering with prenatal care if you’re not taking the advice of your doctor?

Your doctor can refuse to have you in their care if you refuse something major like that. Just a heads up. 
You can pose an underlying risk that will go undetected and they’ll drop you if they consider you going against their practices care model. 
You may discuss it further with your Ob before fully considering skipping out on that.

Nope. I'm glad I did it. I failed my 1 hour and just took my 3 hour today. The sugar drink is gross, but I find comfort in knowing what is going on with my body during pregnancy so that I can get the best care for my unborn daughter.

I didnt 'refuse' but I never got it done. Midwife believed it's an unnecessary test unless I showed signs of gd but I didnt

I work in a lab and I don't think I'll be getting one. I know health care and i know i dont pose a risk for Gd. I can also read my own test results and understand them and I don't have any worries about it. If you know what you're talking about, and from more than a source like wikipedia's or WebMD, then you probably can. I'd talk to your doctor if you dont know

I didn't do it.. Not to refuse or anything, but it got forgotten and I didn't remind them. Because I dreaded drinking that much sugar anyway. I never drink sweet drinks or eat anything sweet besides fruit. I knew from monitoring my weight and the baby measurements that he was definitely not hypertrophic. Also I'm a nurse and I took a blood sugar profile over 24hrs on myself, measuring right before and 2 hours after each meal. 
So I'd say yes you can skip it, I'f you know what you're doing, but it's probably safer to just get it done with 😅

I left my gyn because I was physically abused at my last appointment, and my midwife did offer to do the test but said she can tell the signs of GD and would give me the test if she was worried, so I’m putting my trust in her and I haven’t had the test yet (I’m 22w no symptoms).

I’ve never taken one. I refuse to. They always run an A1C on me instead.
