Ok so i got the Kyleena today (i’m 16). I just wanted to put out there that this might have been one of the worst pains of my life, but it only lasts for abt 10 seconds. Tbh, the speculum was the worst part. Just make sure to relax and breathe. When they measure your uterus, you’re gonna feel a burning cramp pain, but the actual insertion of the iud is just a pinch feeling. I will admit I was very dramatic when I got it inserted, but it is very painful for only a few seconds. Now all I feel are dull period cramps and some spotting. Hope this helps:))))
