Why do I do this to myself?

I'm dumb and decided to just test at 8 dpo. I told myself I wouldn't be disappointed since it's so early. Felt like I saw a slight shadow, but I think I just have line eyes because I want it to be positive. There's nothing there right? Why do I do this to myself every month?🤦I'm not testing again until Saturday at the earliest.

8dpo here! Tested this am even though I knew better.... currently negative but hoping that when I test Sunday it will be positive!

I know what you mean. I’m 8dpo today and tested today as well 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t see anything on yours BUT after I got my negative, I did read on the box the “common” time to get a positive with those tests is 11dpo so don’t give up 😅

The test did dry with a bit of an evap that looks a little purple and it's not totally dry yet. This brand doesn't get evaps in my experience so maybe that's a good thing🤷. I don't know if you can even see it in the pic.  I'm still going to wait until Saturday to retest. I like Sarah's idea of hiding my tests. I'm literally going to have my SO do that for me when he gets home from work today lol.
