My 2 (now 3 year old) was in the room for all my pregnancy stuff and my 6 week check.  She watched her tablet the whole time and didn’t even notice anything was going on

Depends on how old the baby is and how behaved. I’m an MA and honestly can’t stand when women bring their 1 year olds with them because they scream and cry and run around the whole time and it makes the entire process very difficult. 
If the child is well behaved or an infant in a carrier it’s no big deal.

Talk to your OB.  I brought my baby to my 6 week apt and the dr had her nurse take the baby out of the room.

Im pregnant with baby 2 and have a 17 month old. I actually asked them this question and they were like yeah bring her if you need to, everyone does. My mother in law typically can watch her but on the off occasion i need to go with her ill just take the stroller with me.

Fine, my 2 year old goes with me from time to time as our baby sitter can’t always watch her. 
Parents bring their littles all the time to mine, just make sure you have something to occupy them, my last couple appointments have been an hour and a half late 😡 just glad I didn’t have her with those times!

I saw a lady just last month with all 4 of her kids, she took her baby back with her and left the older ones in the waiting room, (the oldest was old enough to sit out there alone and watch the others) and no one cared, it’s perfectly normal and okay, I see baby’s at my OBGYN all the time, I take my 2 year old sometimes but I mostly have someone with me to stay out in the waiting room, but that’s just because he’s wild and climbs the walls.
