Pitting edema?

Is this normal? I didn't experience this with my first. When I push on my (swollen) ankle it stays indented for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Is this happening to anyone else? 34 1/2 weeks.

That happened with my first daughter. But I was working and on my feet almost 8hours at a busy cardiologist office. 
I was just told to drink plenty of fluids and elevate as much as possible. Didn’t help much though! There was nothing they could do. 
This go around I’m a SAHM and swelling is minimal. 
Definitely mention it to your dr and you could try compression stockings

My swelling turned to pitting edema in the last few days (I’m 34w6d) and it was recommended that i try soaking my feet in room temperature tonic water and then immediately elevating. It worked so well. My feel look (almost) like they did pre-pregnancy. Definitely give it a try!

Mine have been pitting for weeks, and my doctor keeps telling me it isn’t anything to be independently concerned about. But I do hate the way it looks and feels 😬
