Chemical or just late period? Please read first

So today at 14 days late I have started to bleed.

Husband and I have been ttc so had sex during my fertile window last month.

I had 3 faint positives last week (af was around a week late) on the 4th & 5th of September so got my hopes up. I’ve never had lines that look like this.

Retested this morning thinking I’d have a darker line but it came back negative.

Fast forward a few hours and I am bleeding & cramping (ie period symptoms)

I read online that false positives are extremely rare so to get 3 confuses me.

Is it likely that I was pregnant and I had a chemical or did I just get false positives and got my period late for another reason?

So confused 😔
