So I have a friend from senior year of high school and she constantly asks me to take her places like stores when we hangout but i don’t mind because I go shopping too, but recently I’m just not sure. We went to target and I bought her pads because she was due any day with her baby and she said she would be bleeding after and no one in her family would buy it for her or her baby daddy so I did, and I also bought her lunch and didn’t get a thank you on either one. She just had the baby and had a c section and yesterday she texts me and asks me can I get her 25$ for pain meds? I asked what about baby daddy who’s house you’re literally at right now? Why doesn’t he have a job? He doesn’t go get a new job after getting fired when he knows he has a baby on the way!? It’s ridiculous. My boyfriend said he feels like she’s using me for rides and stuff i mean she used to ask me to come pick her up and take her places but not as much anymore. But still to not get a thank you and she tries to guilt me into buying her things by saying her family won’t buy her anything. And i do feel bad for her And yes it’s sad but she doesn’t have a job she’s 18 her boyfriend/BD is a loser who cheats on her and gave her an std yet she stays with him. Doesn’t insurance cover pain meds? And the way she asked “can I have 25$ for pain meds” Not a please or I’ll pay you back or anything.
