Fetal Echo

I had a fetal echocardiogram done today because my doctor found an irregular heartbeat.

The good news is there is no structural problem in the baby’s heart.

Bad news is he definitely has an irregular rhythm and it’s causing his heart rate to be slower than it should be. The doctor said it was “tolerable” for him but needs to be monitored because it’s unusual to find this in the 2nd trimester.

I am trying not to be stressed because I know that doesn’t help but I’m just so worried his little heart will stop 😭😭😭
