Is Ella too popular as a girl name?

We love the name Ella. It's the only name my husband and I agree on but I worry it's too popular and over used. What do you think?

I am also a teacher in a small school (~400) and we have about 9 Ella’s. Very pretty but very common.

I think it depends where you live. A lot of the comments are saying they know a lot but I have 170 people in my grade and not one Ella! I love the name. it’s so pretty!
