Fibroid HELP❗️

Went to the Er because I was experiencing bad abdominal pain like every 5 minutes it felt like contractions but found out I have a fibroid outside of my uterus. First time hearing about this even though I’ve been to my OB doctor a few times for ultrasounds. I’m currently 20 weeks & 2 days anyone else experience having a fibroid during pregnancy? Does it affect the baby, does the pain go away eventually? Super scared knowing this is my first pregnancy and they say it’s nothing I can do about it😢
