Omg so I got my Mirena about 2.5 months ago, and have been bleeding pretty heavily the entire time—nightmare. I was also a virgin until a couple hours ago!! Aahhh so I’m just slightly freaking out. I’ve waited for so long (I’m in my 30s), which is crazy, I know. Felt super safe with this guy I’ve been dating, so we decided to just go for it tonight. I feel like an idiot though because we didn’t use a condom and even though I know logically there’s pretty much zero chance to get pregnant on Mirena, I’m still paranoid because he came inside me...twice. We did talk about being clear of any STDs (he’s not a virgin), so in the moment it was fine, but now I’m like...ahhh why did I do that?!! Seems stupid to not have made him use a condom or pull out before coming. Tell me I’m not crazy, and should trust the Mirena! Right?

Also, it definitely hurt, a lot, because he’s very...blessed, lol but was pretty great though once we got going. I was super self conscious about the bleeding, but he didn’t care. I always heard horror stories about first times being so bad, but honestly, aside from the pain, it was good. We even did it a second time. But again I’m like, freaking out.
