Anyone here second time mom going thru c-section again?

I’m curious to know was your first scheduled or emergency? Early due to complications? 
I had mine at 36w3d because of blood pressure being high. 
Have you ladies been told an estimate of when you may be scheduled this time around? I know I’m still early in my pregnancy 19w3d but I want to mentally prepare myself and wrap it around on when I would deliver. When do they tell you? My dr has only mentioned that we would have to do another surgery since I had one with my son 2yrs ago.

My doctor said they normally schedule it at 39 weeks, unless for some reason it has to be sooner

I had an emergency one with my son almost 3yrs ago so I’m going to do a scheduled one this time (I’m 17wks1dy) but he says most likely it will be on 02.14.20 since I’m due on 02.20.20.

I had an emergency c sec due to my son’s heart rate dropping a lot during labor. Everything else about labor went perfectly, so they gave me the option to do a repeat c sec or a VBAC. I’m still trying to decide! It sounds nice to just show up and have the planned c sec done, and recovery should be easier since it’s not an emergency one and I won’t be in labor. But recovery with a 2 year old doesn’t sound fun. So I just don’t know!

First was scheduled due to placenta prévia. At 37+6 so not too early. Now with my second I am 16+1 so still awhile to go yet but I have the option to go vaginal or csection again. I am choosing another csection and have an appointment with the ob to discuss this within the next month. Provided everything is ok I’ll likely have it around 39 weeks.

I had one due to baby being breech. Doctors say if baby is breech by the end of my pregnancy, they’ll do a repeat c section, but if baby is head-down I will try for a VBAC! 😊

I had one due to my daughter being breech with almost no amniotic fluid left. I'm due 3 days after her 1st birthday, with only 12 months between births I'm fighting for a vbac.

Mine will be scheduled for when I'm 39 weeks. I had a C-section December 2017 due to failure to progress after being induced. I live in a small town in Texas and doctors here don't offer VBACs at all. Nearest doctors that do are 2 hours away and even though I'm a good candidate I'm not driving that...
I think being eligible for a VBAC depends on the circumstances. I feel like if your csection was due to high blood pressure you could be high risk for complications and maybe that's why your doctor didn't offer it? Idk or he could be like mine and just not do them.

I had an emergency c section with my 2nd. He kept loosing his heartbeat because he was tangled in the cord. I will have q schedule one this time around. We already have it scheduled for jan 29th.

Never had a C before, but just know that VBAC is an option if you don’t want another  C
