Not for the faint hearted(picture) please help!!!

I am 31 weeks and for the past week I have been loosing my plug but today I have had a huge loss (not the picture) was more than what was in the picture! This is my second loss tonight! Thick mucus and blood, went to L&D checked me over (have already had steroid shots a week ago) said to go back Down if I have more.. But I live so far away and don't drive I can't possibly get there? Can anyone relate to this loss? I know it's probably a 'bloody show' but is this an indicator of labour soon? My cervix was still closed(don't know about Now) but having a few niggle pains and this loss is starting to scare me and making my anxiety bad, anyone help??
