For me personally a break is different than breaking up. When you go on a break it usually means you’re taking a pause and the relationship will eventually resume. A break up usually means never getting back together. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My whole thing is, when she said maybe we should take a break he just walked out. And it was wrong of her to have let Mark come
Over and I get he thought she slept with him.
BUT he tried covering it up. If he would’ve been honest it may have gone a lot different AND when Monica asked about how it went, Rachel did say they broke up. Both are in the wrong in different ways. But he definitely shouldn’t have slept with someone else the night they “broke up.”

This is why I don’t agree with breaks in relationships. 
I don’t think either of them are right or wrong tbh they didn’t set rules of the break and thats where a lot of couples go wrong. Ross clearly saw it as a proper break up, where as Rachel didn’t.

Rachel and Ross are one of the most romanticized toxic relationships EVER. Ross was in the right in this specific situation, but they were both abusive towards each other numerous times through the whole series. It pissed me off that the show ended with them getting back together

I just don’t think he should have slept with someone right away. They were both angry and misunderstanding & I think he should have waited before he quickly moved in to someone else

Ross was, they weren't together. What the heck was he supposed to do, mope and hope she changed her mind(like she does).
