I first got on birth control in fall of 2014 because I started being sexually active with my boyfriend. Thing is, I had never had a regular cycle, sometimes I would get it every 2 or sometimes even 3 months. Right after I got my first shot of depo my periods stopped completely, which I knew was pretty common. I was on the depo for 3 years & in 2017 I switched to the implant because I was gaining ALOT of weight on the depo. Everything was fine, still NO periods. But now I'm thinking of starting a family , so I took out my implant in early May, so it's been 4 months & still NO PERIOD. Idk if it's because I was on bc for so long or if there was something already going on before I got on bc. I'm already making an appointment w my doctor , but I just wanted to talk about this w & you & see if anyone else has experienced something similar.
