I was wondering the

Price of embryo adoption

Procedure

Where it can be done

Would I have better success with embryo adoption than ivf if I'm 39 with low amh unexplained infertility? 2 years ttc. Thanks!

We did ED instead of embryo adoption because we didn't have any sperm issues. My egg quality was low and low amh. We did do 1.5 cycles of IVF and 8 medicated iuis (1 chemical, 3 mcs). After 4 years ttc, I was told I had 5% chance with OE but 70% with ED. So when I reached my point and was finally ready, we moved forward with ED. First transfer was successful and I'm 28 weeks +1 today. I also have a unicornuate uterus so I see a reg Ob/gyn and a mfm.

We are using our clinic for everything. They told us success rate at about 40% and total cost around $8k. I start birth control with my next cycle.

We’re doing our embryo adoption through an agency (our preferred method as it’s a little more personal - mutual matching based on preferences, we’ll have three generations worth of medical history, the agency handles the legal aspect for us, etc) and it’s for the agency fee and home study it’s just under $10,000 (We’re blessed in that my insurance covers it up to $10,000). FET is the cost the clinic lays out.
