Do 2nd babies tend to come on their own before due date?

I’m 37.5 weeks and not ready lol. I’m begging her to stay in a couple more weeks. Is that just like a myth that the 2nd will come earlier?

My first came two days early, my second came one day late. It all depends on your body and when they are ready.

My second came like a week after her due date, where as my first came the day before his due date. So it's a myth lol.

My first baby was born at 41 weeks 5 days and I just had my second baby who finally arrived at 42 weeks 3 days 🤷 I say it's a myth lol

I've heard a lot of people say their second came earlier. My first came on his due date, I'm 2 days from due date with my second and contractions just started 12 o'clock last night and got my bloody show around 6am. Not really early more like on time

I think it just depends on what your body is doing... my first came 37.1 and shocked the heck outta me!  I was expecting to go last due!  My son came 37.6 (I’d been having major contractions since 33 weeks) so I kind of induced myself and encouraged contractions... I think he would have stayed in another week or so if I had wanted him to.  Currently pregnant with number 3 so we shall see!!

I had my son at 37 weeks and I’m on my second pregnancy with another boy and I’m currently 38 +4 weeks. So I’d say myth. It’s crazy how every pregnancy is really different.

my first came teo weeks early so hopefully second doesnt come sooner than that 😅 my sisters second came the day after her due date while the first came a coulke days before so 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think it’s a myth. I know women who have multiple children and each ones arrives post due date! As for me, my 2nd arrives two days prior to due date just like the 1st.
