TMI: Implantation bleeding- Miscarriage or blood clot?

Hey y’all! I am in need of answers and some support right now! My boyfriend and I have not been trying and I am on birth control but I’ve had heavy bleeding for the last few days and recently cramping badly. Not unbearable but definitely noticeable. Normally my period is very light. I’ve been bleeding through tampons! Earlier I pulled out my tampon and this came out on it. Am I having or did I have a miscarriage? It is red, hard and gooey and I am not supposed to get my period for another week. Please let me know your thoughts and options. This does not look like any blood clot I’ve had before. I apologize for the gross picture, I am just concerned. Please let me know your thoughts.
