Dr wants to remove my left ovary
Hi everyone,
I am 30 years old and have two healthy babies. I decided had a tubal ligation after my 2nd child was born, since we were done having kids, and I got pregnant 3 times on 3 different types of birth control methods.
My doctor wants to remove my left ovary due to extremely bad pains I get during my period and when I ovulate. I also have a history of very large cysts growing on my ovary as well. I am up in the the air whether or not I should get this surgery or not. The doctor said it would be laparoscopic so nothing huge and invasive. I worry about my hormones and it putting me into early menopause or having to take hormones for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any insite on this??? Thanks
