Anyone with super spoiled pets?!

Our 3 year old rescue pup is spoiled!! She's a great dog but she sleeps in bed with us and gets to lounge on the couch and has to be near us all the time. She's great with kids and other dogs but she's  had no training. She jumps on everyone who comes to visit as if they are here for her and her alone. I know we need to get her in dog classes before the baby arrives. I worry about how she will do and how I really need my bed back now.  Anyone else have some tips or suggested reading?

When I first got married, my husband used to let his two dogs sleep in bed with him. It was a nightmare for me. I couldn’t sleep because they’d sleep where my feet was, and then them jumping off the bed on our parquet floors would wake me up because I’m such a light sleeper. I used to cry at night because I couldn’t sleep!! We eventually kicked them out of the bedroom. One of them cried outside our door for weeks and then eventually learned that our bedroom was off limits. She was already 4 years old by then so you can do it too. It’s just gonna take patience and discipline.

My dog is SUPER spoiled. We never put her in a dog training classes. She was just fine when we had our first. 
This will be our third and she’s still just as spoiled and still my princess. 
We did work on her not jumping on people when they came in. She almost knocked me over one time when I was super pregnant. But she’s a good girl.

Set boundaries now, don't allow her on the bed and the couch anymore. If she hops up, say "off" firmly and shoo her off immediately. You could also consider kennel training so she goes to sleep in her own cozy cave and has a place to be safe so you know her and your baby are both ok.

Definitely do a training class but i have two dogs one is a boxer that sounds like your dog haha and the other is a lab rescue. The lab has an aggressive side so we were super nervous but he is so good with our now two year old. And the boxer plays with him but is gentle! We just make sure we stay near (they also sleep in bed with us haha)
