I love my new tattoo.

A little over 6 months ago I left my abusive husband with my 2 kids(aged 2 and 4 months at the time) and whatever I could fit in my car and left. It has been a struggle mentally, physically, and financially as I am a junior in nursing school but I promised my kids since the day they were born I’d never give up. They need me and I’d do anything for them. I get a full ride to school and sometimes I get extra money which deposits into my bank and Friday I received some. That day I was like let’s go get a tattoo. I’ve been wanting one for a few months but I had priorities so it never happened. This tattoo reminds me to never give up and that I can overcome anything. It says “life is tough my darling but so are you”
