I am in my 5th month ttc #2. I had a c section 2 years ago after having my first that was not planned, but not an emergency c section.

I called to book my HSG test and the docs said that since I had a severe allergic reaction to seafood (17 years ago ugh) previously that they cannot do the exam since iodine is used.

Does anyone else have a similar experience? My obgyn never got back to me regarding this so I decided to keep ttc naturally for a few more months and hopefully avoid the test before I further consult with a fertility doc.
