Should dad help me in the middle of the night ??

Ok so I’m starting to get extremely annoyed, I wanna know if I’m over reacting.. my boyfriend works, so do I, (I take my son to work with me) so I literally never get a break. My boyfriend wakes up depending on what time he works around 5;00am or sometimes 6:30am... I wake up at like 7:45... is it fair that I ALWAYS wake up in the middle of the night to change and feed our son? Some nights are worse then others but he can wake up around 2-3 times a night... I ALWAYS get up and watching him just sleep peacefully is starting to piss me off. He says it’s cause he has to get up earlier but I’m just getting frustrated now... the only time he feeds and changes him it’s if the baby wakes up at the same time that he already gets up for work... so my question is, should I keep getting up all the time??? I get he works early but im starting to feel like this isn’t fair and im getting angry!!! (I don’t Breast feed btw) our son is 7 months old.

If you’re both working then it’s only fair if you both get up to him, maybe take it in turns? You do one night he does the next ect that way one of you gets a night break and the other does the next night

I think in your situation it should be equal. You both have to work, sure he has to get up a little earlier but you’re the only one getting up at night so that exhaustions going to keep building up till it’s too much, and you getting more time in the morning isn’t even going to make a difference. With my son I didn’t even work and my SO would still help me when he had to be up for work in a few hours.

I would say that he should do the non-work nights and you do work nights since your extra time in bed can off set the getting up.

I agree with the others. He should be helping for sure! I am a SAHM and my husband gets up at 4am so I take all the night feedings. My husband would wake up & do it if I asked him to though..I just reserve his help at night for Friday & Saturday nights 😂
