Christmas gifts for 6 month old?

My husband's family is taking us all to spend christmas week at a beach house this year, so they've decided no one will get presents besides our daughter, who will be 6 months at the time. 
We weren't really planning on getting her anything, but his parents will buy things for her. I'd rather it be things that she will actually use, but this is my first child and I'm not really sure what she will want/need at that age. Any thoughts?

Sippy cups for when she’s ready for those, books, shoes (bigger sizes for when she’s walking would be the most helpful), bath toys, a thing to put her bath toys in to hang in the shower, clothes, A cute toy box, tooth brush/paste, bows for her hair, a mini wet brush, next size up car seat, those soft fabric books for while she’s young, new sleep sacks in bigger sizes if you use those, spoons, forks, divided plates.

My first will be 6 months old for Christmas too. So exciting. We're telling everyone who wants to buy for her to please not get anything big.  Clothes are always needed! Light up toys, anything to help her walk or even crawl. Busy toys mainly.  Flash cards and educational toys even.

My first was nine mos for his first Christmas. He got clothes in the next size up, books, and contributions to his savings account for uni. You can put down a “four presents” rule if you want. Something she wants (or you want for her), something she needs, something to wear, something to read. That’s been a good guideline for us

My boy will be about six months come Christmas and I’m asking for practical items. My list- Convertible car seat, Nutribullet to make babe puree’s, highchair, tableware for baby to eat and a doorway jumper. Once those are bought then I am ok with clothes and diapers. Your baby TRULY does not need anything for his or her pleasure. Ask for age appropriate necessities.

Books, feeding things (suction bowls, munchkin training spoons, bibs with pockets, etc), a Sit n Stand walker, summer hats, etc. You should plan to buy for summer since everyone will probably buy things baby can use asap

If you go to a store or look online you can sort toys by the 6-12 month range. Ours will be 5 months old so that's what we did.
