When are you guys going to announce your May baby?

Hey ladies! When do you all plan to announce your pregnancy with your babes?? Also what is your due date?

I’m 4 weeks 5 days and we told our parents and siblings immediately!! I have an ultrasound on September 30th, I’ll be 6 weeks 4 days. As long as everything is looking good we will most likely announce to the rest of the family at that point and make a social media announcement around 8 weeks.
I see nothing wrong with announcing early. I’ve had 2 miscarriages and what I’ve learned is you can’t prevent miscarriages from happening. Yes, they tend to happen more often early on and your chances of miscarriage decrease after the 12 week mark but it doesn’t mean you can’t miscarry after 12 weeks. All my babies deserve to be loved and celebrated! If I happen to have another miscarriage then at least I will have the love and support from both our family’s to get through the hard times. Also, my sister in law has had 4 miscarriages, 2 of which happened at 16 weeks. So again waiting until 12 weeks is awesome and I completely understand why someone would want to wait, but making it to 12 weeks doesn’t always mean you can’t or won’t miscarry!
To each their own. I hope all of us have a very happy and healthy 9 months!!!

3 weeks from now! My husband is very anxious this time and wants to wait until our first appointment where we will hopefully hear the heartbeat! I’ll be 10 weeks! We will probably announce on social media on Halloween!

Due May 23, going out of state to visit my parents in early November and will tell them then.  Will probably tell my husband’s family and post it on social media on Thanksgiving.

Per glow, I'm 6w 4d and will be due May 10. I'm getting a blood test tomorrow and once I get the results, I'll set up my ultrasound and OB-GYN visit. 
If it remains that due date, I'll be 12 weeks the first week of November. However, my sister's baby shower is that weekend and I don't want to steal her day, so I'll wait until after. 
My DH said well probably wait until between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but that is several more weeks and idk if I can wait that long.

I’ve had to tell immediate family early and close friends as I have to tell my workplace (high risk). But if I’m honest I did it this way with my son and don’t regret it at all. If anything was to happen at least I know I’d have support. I’m a positive person though. We’ll announce to everyone else at 12 weeks after our first scan.
