I really need to hear encouraging stories from you ladies. We had our egg retrieval yesterday and were so thrilled that we had 19 eggs collected. I was hoping for 10 to fertilize. Well I just got the call that only 2 fertilized. I am so heartbroken. My doctor said he is shocked by this as there were no indications of sperm or egg issues. He seems confident that at least one will make it to day five for transfer because of our age(27).
