Naming middle names after family members ?

My husband and I want to name (Middle Name only) our son or daughter after a member in both of our families. Example : if girl it’s middle name would be after my grandma who raised me; Victoria and my husband’s step mom who raised him; Leizel. We would either hyphenate the middle name or combine them together.

What are your thoughts on naming babies after a loved one? (Specifically middle names only)
