BEST baby gate? Help me choose!

I’m a first time mama and my lo one just started crawling so I need to buy a gate! I don’t know which one to get! Preferably one that isn’t super ugly 😂

I prefer gates with a door. Makes life easier than having to constantly take it up and down

Amazon has some great options. I got a really nice looking $80 gate for $40 because it was considered “open box”!

The Regalo with a button to release the door. My son figured out how to use the Regalo with a latch before he was walking for even a month!

Munchkin gates are my favorites because they have a very low threshold walking through them. My parents have Regalo gates and I can’t stand them, they’re very cheaply made. I have three pressure mounted and one wall mounted Munchkin gate currently.

If you’re looking for a pressure mounted gate I highly recommend the North States Portico Arch gate. It’s not an eyesore, and most importantly it’s super easy to operate, although my toddler hasn’t figured it out yet, thank goodness. We also have a Summer Infant gate, but the North States one is definitely my favorite.
