Skyla IUD is this normal?

Ever since I have gotten the Skyla IUD my periods are really heavy bleeding and last for over a week. I also have the worst cramps. There not regular cramps where the pain last for a few hours straight. The cramps last for about 30 seconds to a minute and are stabbing sharp pain to the point I can’t stand up. The pain go away for about 3-5 minutes (sometimes longer) and will come back again. The cramps do that for days and sometimes my whole period. I have thought about getting it removed but I don’t know if this is actually normal or not. So is this normal??
