2cm 50% effaced but need iron transfusion

I’m 36+1 went to the dr today and I’m 2cm 50%, which I know can be nothing, but who knows since this is my 3rd baby.

My biggest concern is I’m extremely anemic and need to have 5-6 transfusions before I deliver! Has anyone had iron transfusions? Does it hurt, how long does it take before you feel better? What can happen if I go into labor before I have the baby 😩😩😩

This is my first time ever needed this, but also my first time having any progress this early as both of my other children went way pass due date and I was induced.
