Last night I was just laying around, watching Workaholics minding my own damn business when i suddenly saw that a guy that i used to talk to around 5ish years ago had messaged me on snapchat. The very last time we had talked was like 3 years ago before he got a girlfriend so it was VERY strange and random, especially because we live in different states.

So I look and he’s just said “hey” and obviously I reply because I’m way too curious what he wants. My numero uno scenario that I imagined was that him & his girlfriend broke up and he was feeling lonely. He’s just acting all friendly seeing how I am and what I’m up to and we’re just kinda catching up. After a few exchanges I decide to go ahead and ask why he decided to message me because the curiousity is killing me, and he tells me that it’s because he has a layover in my state this weekend so he just happened to think of me.

At this point, I’m like “oh i bet he wants me to drive all the way to the airport to f*ck or something”. He calls my state a big state (which its not) and asks how far away from the airport i am, & I give him a guesstimate of like 2 hours (which it’s more like 1h15m) BUT im not trying to have him convince me to drive there even though he says he’s not. I’m SO sure that he’s broken up with his girlfriend at this point so this is where I try to feel out his true intentions. I say “u have a gf tho right??” & he says “yeah i do. i’m not tryin to hit on u or anything just seeing what’s up” ????

From that point on, however, he’s trying to convince me to come to the airport so we can go out and get drinks together during his layover. He’s telling me that drinks are on him and that I can order as many as I want. Which, maybe he is just trying to be friendly, but here’s the part that makes me feel like it’s a lil sketchy. When he first message me I instantly went to his insta to see if there were signs that he broke up with is girlfriend, but his account now said “user not found” at the top when I went to it. I assumed that he had deleted or deactivated his account for some reason. HOWEVER, later on while I was talking to him I just got this hunch. I sent his @ to my friend and told her to look it up and she send me a screenshot of his profile, fully loaded with all of his posts. I remembered seeing his very last post on my feed so I get the feeling that he blocked me very recently. Like maybe right before he messaged me. My friend suggested that maybe him and his girlfriend have an open relationship or are looking for a threesome, but in either of those options why does it require him blocking me? 🤔 Also, seems convenient that he’s messaging me on snapchat where it leaves no paper trail of our interaction. BUT, maybe I’m over thinking this and he really is just trying to be friendly and get drinks with me?? 🤷🏼‍♀️

i want to add a mini-edit just to respond to some of the comments so far:

1. he for sure wasn’t caught creeping on me because my insta has ZERO posts bc i got hacked awhile back and everything was deleted and i haven’t posted since.

2. i checked his insta at the very first “hey” and i was already blocked

3. i have no interest in fucking this dude but if he’s out here being shady i wanna be able to expose him so his girlfriend isn’t just getting blindsided like that
