After baby "Birth Control" plan?

Good morning ladies,

I was talking to my hubby last night about which birth control we think would be best to go with.

I have used the pills, would forget to take them sometimes. I have had the ring, found it uncomfortable. I have used depo, didn't like the weight gain, headaches and mood changes. I had used the IUD but found that it went missing one day so far that I started bleeding like water.

I had last had the nexplanon and my only complaint for that was in the beginning. For the first two months I bled so heavy, especially after sex but it went away eventually.

I was planning to go that route again after having my son but the hubby wants to have another baby after our son turns a year old. Should I give one of the other birth controls another chance or choose nexplanon till we are sure when we want to try again? What are your birth control plans?
