My husband literally told me “I’m going to propose this week. And you’ll have no idea when.” he planned a different date every single day for an entire week. I was so stressed and my anxiety was through the roof. But he was right. He did it when I least expected.

My wife had no idea I was going to propose. If I dropped hints, she would know, because I am horrible at keeping secrets. 
We both were on the same page for moving forward in the relationship. We talked about marriage, the future, family, etc. We knew it was long term. So when we both proposed (we did on the same day), it wasn’t really catching each other off guard or anything.

we were having Christmas at our house and I went to go pick up some chairs in his truck and I saw the bag with the ring on the seat. lol I was so excited but a little disappointed that I ruined his surprise. but before that he asked if I saw a future with him and if I wanted to get married in the future.

He was acting more controlling than normal over my plans that weekend. I thought he was being a controlling a-hole for no reason and it turns out he was just trying to make sure his proposal went to plan 🤣 I didnt realize why until after, though, so it didnt give anything away and I was very surprised.
