Blood Test For Down Syndrome

I’ve seen and heard a lot of stories where their baby has a white spot or bright dot on their babies heart during an ultrasound and their OBGYN tell them it’s a marker for Down Syndrome, well I had that happen to me and I went ahead and took a blood test to see the chromosomes and see for sure if he has DS but I have to wait 5-10 days and it’s kind of killing me....I just wanna know!! I mean no matter what I’m going to love and cherish my baby and spoil him 🥰♥️ I’m just nervous considering this is my first baby!! Anyone else have any stories like mine?
