Pain when you sneeze?

Does any one have pain when they sneeze?  I tend to hold in my sneezes because a teacher made fun of the way I sneezed as a kid... habit.  Now when I sneeze I get pain on the right and left sides.  I also get the same pain when in bed trying to twist and turn getting in a new position.   Any ideas or cause for concern?

Sounds like round ligament pain sneezing can definitely bring that on as well as moving suddenly

I don’t even hold in my sneezes but I’m sick with a head cold that has involved a lot of sneezing I’ve had round ligament pain a lot the last few days and it is so uncomfortable 😫

Round ligament pain can be caused by sneezing, coughing or getting up to quickly and I know sometimes my uterus feels "tender" enough to kinda hurt a little when I sneeze. I just had to learn to fully sneeze (my husband made fun of my "compacted" sneeze) so i don't have random weird pains. But yes its normal.

You all are right!  I saw my doctor on Friday and asked about it.  He said it was round ligament pain and could be some scar tissue tearing from my 1st csection.  100% normal.  Fewfta!
