I'm worried I heard bad things about identical I'm just a hypochondriac I'm trying to figure out what type of twins I'm having also the weeks is wrong I'm actually 12 weeks and some days

Identical can just be higher risk. Mine are mono/di identical twins which means they have two separate sacs but share a placenta. Them sharing a placenta makes them a higher risk because of some issues that can arise from that. Mono/mono identical twins share a sac and a placenta so them are in very close proximity and share all the nutrients from the placenta which makes them very high risk and can cause issues. 
I wouldn’t worry much, if you’re pregnant with twins in general you should be automatically monitored more closely then a singleton pregnancy and like my doctor told me “stay off of google it’ll only make you worry let us do the worrying for you”. Just listen to your doctors instructions, keep up with appointments and tests and you’ll be fine, congratulations on your twins!!

Even if they’re di/di (the only type that can be fraternal) they could still be identical. If they’re the same sex you’d need a DNA test at birth to know for sure. However, if they are di/di them being identical or fraternal does not make them higher or lower risk. Mo/di os considered higher risk (identical) and mo/mo is even higher risk (also identical).
