Spotting and worried

I’m 8 weeks and 4 days, got diagnosed by my doctor with a yeast infection. They put me on a vaginal cream that I’ve been taking for 4 days and got 3 left on. I was spotting light pink before the cream and today when I wiped there was dark red streaked through it. Idk if it’s just the cream doing its job or if I should be worried. It’s not much, my doctor said to follow up after the treatment if my spotting didn’t let up but I’m still concerned. This is my first pregnancy
