How do you know baby turned head down? Does it feel any different?!

I got really bad shooting pains in my ribs every time I felt her move turns out she had gone head down and her legs was all up in my ribs. Some women don’t even notice it happening i still sometimes feel like she’s lay sideways only your midwife/doctor can tell for sure but feeling you’re stomach usually whilst checking fundal measurements
