IVF successful protocols ?

Question

We unfortunately have not had success with

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> Implantation

and am trying to see if anyone has tried different protocols that ended up successful. We have a follow up appointment to see what next steps are and would like to find out what questions we can ask to help (hopefully) succeed. We’re older (40s) so odds are against us. Thanks so much for any advice or information you can provide!

If implantation is the problem , look into having an ERA test. They biopsy a piece of your uterine lining at a specific time of your cycle to see if it’s receptive. You may need more progesterone before the transfer to help with implantation. I had it done and I needed additional progesterone. It also may be an egg quality problem. I know it’s expensive, but genetic testing will give you a good idea of the embryo quality and whether it’s worth transferring. Hope this helps. Good luck.

If I were in this position I would ask my dr if we should do a scratch. This is where they scratch a part of your lining to make it easier for the embryo to implant because the burrow is already started for them. Also, assisted hatching?

Have you done an ERA? It’s a mock cycle that gives you a window of when you should actually start progesterone prior to your transfer? I had one done but had 2 transfers after and my embryos still failed to implant. One of my embryos was from 2015 so RE was concerned that she was frozen and thawed too many times and it put stress on the embryo and for our last transfer we transferred 2 and they were C grade embryos so we’re thinking that might have been the cause of them not implanting. But who knows. I’m not trying to dwell. Moving forward with positivity!
