Bfp at home, inconclusive blood HCG at doctor

Unsure on dpo (haven’t had a period since getting off birth control) Got my bfp yesterday morning. Went to the dr for my HCG and got an inconclusive response. Took a test tonight on 3.5 hour hold. Has anyone experienced this? Trying to ease my mind that it was a test error or I’m just too early.
