What the hell did I get myself into?

I told my husband’s coworker I would take her baby clothes hand me downs that she didn’t want. She dropped them off yesterday... three big (like sams club size) diaper boxes full of baby clothes. I washed the first load, and have two more to go so far I’m at a count of 96 onesies. 🤦🏻‍♀️

That’s a lot of onesies, but I love hand me down clothes! New clothes for babies are expensive and they’re in them for so little time.

Keep what you like/want/need and donate the rest if it’s too much. People in my area do that a lot and it’s super helpful for some people who can’t afford clothing :/

My son was furnished with hand me downs from a few people all the way up until 18/24 months, many of the items still had tags! I only had to buy a few season appropriate things, & now that he is 2T/3T I’ve had to actually buy him clothes for the first time.
My advice is to sort through, see what you live/really like, set aside what you hate (hubby vetoed Winnie The Pooh & Elmo, & I don’t like monkeys on my little mixed baby) & donate or pass on the rest. I received SO MUCH as well that I kept what I thought we would need/use & still had too much.
