Recommended diet wet food brands?

My cat isn’t a picky eater, quite the opposite. She’s a lil food hog and has been gaining weight... I wanna get her on a diet food (I’m feeding her science diet healthy weight dry kibble for breakfast) and I WAS feeding her 4oz of friskies pâté for dinner but now I wanna change it to something less fatty. Has anyone had experience with getting their kitty to lose weight? What foods worked best?

I don't know about wet food but for the kibble instead of putting it in a bowl put it in a toy so your cat has to work for it.
You can get ball ones or tower ones.

I know that either simply nourish or authority have a healthy weight kibble. I would personally choose simply nourish just because of the wholesome ingredients and it would leave my kitties full after a few bites honestly.
