Going from 2 to 3 kids...Easier or Harder?
So my husband and I currently have two little ones ages 3 and 1. They are 21.5 months apart.
We are trying to figure out when we want to try for #3. The two options we are thinking right now (if all works out) would make the baby born when my youngest is either 2yrs 4 months old or 2 years 10 months old. Even though our options are only six months difference, I know how much a kid can change in 6 months time. So I wonder if I should wait and give my youngest those additional 6 months to mature before the baby is born. Or should we just go for it and add to the crazy?!? Ideally I don’t want the gap any larger than 3 years since my first two are so close. But I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew either.
I’d like others opinions on how the transition was going from 2 to 3 kids. How it was different from going from 1 to 2. How far your age gaps of your kids are and whether or not you like that?
