Wetness? Tmi?

Every time I get off my period I get this wetness feeling and I look in my underwear and theres this white stuff and it has an odor. How do I control it..my boyfriend can be two feet and he says he can smell me but he likes it..but its so embarrassing..it ALWAYS happens when I wear leggings too..
