When is the best time to take an ovulation test?

Morning? Night? Does it even matter? Also.. I just took my very first ovulation test ever 5 minutes ago and.... is this a positive? It looks pretty even in color to me, but I know from reading a lot of comments about them that they can be tricky

You actually shouldn’t use first morning urine for ovulation tests. Go with early-mid afternoon, and make sure to limit your liquid intake before you test.

I say it depends on the test. My test say to test between 10am and 8 pm. I tested at 11 am everyday until it started to look darker and did 11am and 5pm.
That looks really close to positive I would test again in the morning or again tonight it you stay up long enough.

Definitely not first morning urine. You can miss your LH surge this way. Mid afternoon is usually best.

So that test was at 9pm. And I took another at 11 this morning and it looked like this.. so do we think last night was my ovulation window?

Morning is best, first urination of the day. I'm sorry, I have no idea what that means. I used to clearblue tests with the smiley faces cuz they were easiest to read.
